MO’B

Born in North Dakota, raised in Saratoga Springs, New York and now a three-decade resident of Vermont. I’ve raised three emotionally and intellectually intelligent beings and several dog friends. Married twice, love them both.

I have three essentially useless college degrees and years of experience as a teacher, pastor, chaplain, writer, photographer. Life is an endlessly creative endeavor and things work out pretty well if we subject ourself to it. Life is often leading us where we need to go, in spite of ourselves.

Right now I’m working on a tech project called SAM with my son, Sam. It felt fitting that the first thing I gave birth to has the same name as the last thing I create. Even though I’ll probably create more things after this.

SAM is my attempt to mitigate the loneliness and despair that comes with the later years of life. We’ve become superheros at keeping humans alive forever, but we suck when it comes to quality of life during the last trimester. I know I can’t solve this problem, that this is a long road, but I’m committed to trying. You can read about it here.
